MyChat 2024.3 was released on March 23, 2024.
This update brings new options for protecting data on your mobile device.
Security PIN codes
MyChat for Android is now provided with the option to set up a special security PIN code for unblocking the application. You can turn on this feature in the app’s settings, and configure the rest on your MyChat Server.
Emergency PIN code for erasing all data secretly
We really hope that you won’t be in a situation where you need to use this feature. However, it is good to know that you can save your sensitive information by using a special “panic PIN code” to delete everything on your account. Even if an offender watches you while you trying to enter your account, they can’t do anything, because they do not know either your real PIN code or a “panic” one.
New look for navigation panel in MyChat 2024.3 for Windows
MyChat Client for Windows now looks a little bit different:
The horizontal panel is now placed vertically which allows us to add more navigation buttons in the future. Moreover, the color of the panel is no longer white but more highlighted on the interface.
