MyChat 2023.4 was released on June 29, 2023. Let’s take a quick look at the new features and improvements.
Edit sent messages
We consider it a very helpful feature as typos are a common thing. Sometimes people type in a rush or are sleepy which usually causes misunderstandings during digital conversations. One word can change the whole phrase meaning. To avoid this, we added an option to edit your own messages sent to a private dialogue or conference.
All users can edit their messages, but an organization can change this anytime on the servers by applying limitations.
Improved security measures
It turned out that if an organization applied a security password for a server, a person could download a ready file of configured MyChat application without entering the required password. This flaw is fixed with additional checks.
