The year 2025 brought another set of helpful features for MyChat business messenger. We focused on privacy measures, data control, and convenient integrations and migration from discontinued software.
👻 MyChat 2025.1 — Ghost Mode and message reaction on mobile devices
Ghost mode allows MyChat to work in the background without message notifications and a tray icon. Sometimes, MyChat works as a video surveillance station or time tracking. Hence, this feature helps to prevent the app from accidental closing by people who are not in charge.
Message reactions on Android and iOS applications for better micro-commmunication.
🔑 MyChat 2025.2 — Multiple Keys for the Integration API
Better management for the Integration API keys: add/delete, set expiration date, and provide comments for each key.
Also, added the option to play voice messages in the alternative client.
🔄️ MyChat 2025.3 — Migrate chat history from Skype
Skype discontinued in May 2025, but a lot of people had important conversations and contacts that they do not want to lose. MyChat provides a convenient migration from Skype, saving the dialogue structure with images, links, and information about calls.
🧹 MyChat 2025.4 — Complete deletion of chat history
It is possible to erase MyChat history completely, without the option to restore it. It means that messages not only clear up from the interface but are also deleted physically on the server.
