The MyChat 2026.6 update introduces several practical improvements for everyday teamwork. The main changes include message forwarding, new Kanban tools, a movie quiz bot, and additional security updates.
Forward messages without losing context
Users can now forward messages to private chats, conferences, and other available conversations. This makes it easier to share important information without manually copying the text or having to explain it again.
A short comment can be added to the forwarded message, while the original content remains unchanged. MyChat also avoids long chains of nested forwards, so messages stay clear and easy to read.
Forwarding is managed through server permissions. Administrators can disable the feature for certain user groups or conversations. Access restrictions are also provided to help prevent confidential information from being shared with users who should not see it.
More useful Kanban boards
The built-in Kanban system now offers clearer task cards, improved tags, and better avatar display. Tasks can be sorted by creation date, deadline, or label, which is useful when a project contains many active cards.
Tags can also be used as filters across the whole project. This allows users to quickly find tasks related to a specific department, priority, or type of work.
Another new feature is task copying. Teams that regularly repeat similar processes can create a new task from an existing card instead of starting from scratch. Comments are not copied because they belong to the original task history.
Automatic system comments now record important task actions, making it easier to understand how a card moved through the workflow.
A movie quiz for the team
MyChat Server now includes a free Movie Quiz bot. It creates a separate conference where users can guess films from screenshots.
The quiz can be a simple way to make communication less formal, especially for remote teams. Administrators can start, stop, or restart it through the server settings.
Smaller but useful improvements
The update also improves file handling, chat backgrounds, conference previews, and server stability. Security protection against repeated login attempts and abnormal activity has been strengthened as well.
MyChat 2026.6 focuses on familiar workflows rather than major interface changes. Messages are easier to share, tasks are easier to manage, and teams get a small new activity for informal communication.
