MyChat 2025.4 released on 8.10.2025.
It’s been a while since we released a new version 🙂 But it does not mean we did not work on MyChat improvements.
In this update, we fixed a lot of bugs and improved existing tools and features, enhancing stability and convenience.
There are also new features requested by our customers that impact privacy and importing options.
🧹Erasing chat history completely
Most popular messengers are missing this feature. You can’t really delete message history if it is stored on public servers; there is only an illusion of that option. In MyChat, you control your information.
Deleting history in MyChat is permanent and physical, and this action cannot be undone.
🔎Scanning QR/barcodes in MyChat for Android
MyChat for Android now provides a built-in barcode and QR code scanner
Barcodes and QR codes are everywhere now: retail, entertainment services, logistics, etc.
MyChat for Android allows scanning codes with your phone, automatically sending decoded data to chat.
🔄️Improved Skype history import
In this update, we added proper handling for tags that made imported Skype chat history more visually accurate.
✅More improvements
Various improvements that deal with the bot Elisa, link visibility in the chat, call sound input options, and localization.
